Colors by Llarowe: Purple Pizzazz, Woodstock, True Colors & House of Blues!

Hello!

Tonight I have some more Colors by Llarowe holos to show you!

We'll start with Purple Pizzazz. It's a medium purple linear holo with purple glitters in it. The formula is very smooth, I used 2 coats for full opacity. All photos from here down are taken in artificial light and have no top coat.

Next up is True Colors! This is one of my favorite CBL polishes. I never got the first production of this color. This is the reformulated, newer version, in the newer bottle. I used 2 coats and the formula is perfection. Super smooth and even. TC is a beautiful purple/plum color with a very strong linear holo.

Woodstock is an insanely bright neon yellow linear holo with a touch of lime in it. Again, the formula is perfect and I used 2 coats for full opacity. No staining with this color at all. I usually hate colors like this but I'm in love with Woodstock.

Last up is House of Blues which is a blue linear holo. The formula is great, and again I used 2 coats.

Llarowe holos generally retail for $12 each on her website. I'm not sure if these are available anymore, I don't think they are, but she restocks frequently and does bring back discontinued colors all the time.

Colors by Llarowe: My Big Girl Panties!

Hello! My nails needed a break so I decided to wait until they looked better and gave them a chance to breathe before I posted.

Tonight I have another Colors by Llarowe holo, My Big Girl Panties! MBGP is a super light purple linear holo. This polish is so holo, it's amazing. And the color is just gorgeous. It looks almost silver it's so light, but it has hints of purple in it that really catch in the sunlight. As with all my CBL holos, the formula is perfect. So smooth, no patches, no streaks. I used 2 coats of MBGP and no top coat. All photos are taken in artificial light.

I don't think this polish is available on llarowe.com anymore. But she did have a preorder yesterday for new fall/Halloween colors and a few might still be available! Holos usually retail for $12 each.

Colors by Llarowe: Woman from Tokyo, Paper Moon & Oh Christmas Tree!

Today I have some Colors by Llarowe holos to show you!

First up is Woman from Tokyo. This color is one of my favorite CBL polishes. It's a deep purple holo and it's so insanely holo and gorgeous. I used 2 coats in the photo and that's all you need - the formula is super smooth.

Next up is Paper Moon, another favorite CBL. Paper Moon is a light purple holo. It's not lavender, it's an almost pastel, but a little darker purple. The color is extraordinary. I used 2 coats of Paper Moon. Again, the formula is perfect and smooth and applies like a dream.

Last is Oh Christmas Tree! Tree is a super dark green, almost black color. The formula is perfect, I used two coats. All of the CBL holos I own apply flawlessly and most of the linear holos are some of the most holo polishes out there. You can find them at llarowe.com for $12 each. I don't think these 3 are available anymore, they're from the holiday 2013 collection. I know Leah Ann brings colors back, though, so you may see these guys again!

The formula is perfect, I got this opaque in 2 coats. I used Dior's Gel Top Coat. All photos were taken in direct sunlight.

Illamasqua: Nurture & Lynnderella: Top 'O the Glitter!

Tonight I have a mani that would be perfect for St. Patrick's Day!

Illamasqua one of my favorite polish brands. I love the makeup, too. Founded in 2008, Illamasqua is a UK based brand and really is what Urban Decay used to be. They have that raw, edgy look and feel that reminds me so much of vintage UD from the late 90's. The makeup is pricey, but it's so worth the money.

Illamasqua has a line of polishes that have a rubber finish. I have quite a few of them and they're all fantastic. It's not a matte finish, it really does look rubber. Nurture is a lime, almost neon green. It's a straight up flat color, no shimmer or duochrome effects. The rubber finishes do apply well. The formula isn't 100% perfect, but they're not bad by any means. I used 2 coats for opacity. You can make these glossy by adding top coat, but that would defeat the purpose and you can easily find a much cheaper, comparable dupe if you want this color glossy. All photos taken in artificial lighting.

Illamasqua's retail for $17 each and you can find them at Sephora.

Then I added Lynnderella Top 'O the Glitter! This polish was sent to me for review by Paul. I have all the other St. Patty's inspired Lynn's and they're all so special and beautiful. TOTG has a clear base with scattered green micro glitter. It's filled with black, green and silver glitters in varying shapes and sizes. There are matte green hexes, black hearts, stars, diamonds and silver hexes. This color is super sparkly in sunlight. The micro glitters really catch the sunlight and make this color pop.

My favorite thing about Lynnderella's is never knowing what you're going to get when you take the brush out of the bottle. It's always a surprise. So there might actually be more shapes in here, but I got what I listed above. No matter how many times you use the same Lynn, it's always going to look different because there's so much in every bottle. These are just a few of the reasons that make me love Lynnderella so much. I used 1 coat of TOTG. You don't need more than that. The formula is perfection. Not too thick or thin. I used Lynn's Glitter Tamer as a top coat. All photos are taken in artificial lighting.

You can find Lynnderella's on her eBay store. Lynnderella.com

Top 'O the Glitter is a limited edition, auction only polish.
